A guide to the five Scotland degree shows 2014…
It’s that time of year when final year art students negotiate with the gods for more hours in each day to get their degree shows ready.
There’s nothing quite like the buzz of a degree show opening night where friends, family and fellow students converge into one of the most memorable nights of their lives.
If you’re anything like me right when you when you get to thinking the degree shows should be happening is exactly when you find out they happened the week before.
With that in mind, here’s the dates from all five of Scotland degree shows 2014 (in chronological order) so you don’t have to miss any of them…

Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design Degree Show 2014 Dates
- Degree Show Dates: Friday 16th May – Sunday 5th May 2014
- Opening times: Mon–Fri: 10am – 8pm, Sat & Sun: 10am – 4pm
- Exhibition Preview: Friday 16 May 6-9pm

Edinburgh College of Art Degree Show 2014 Dates
- Degree Show Dates: Saturday 24th May – Sunday 1st June 2014
- Opening times: 11:00am – 5:00pm (Public Viewing)
- Late openings: Wednesday 28th May and Thursday 29th May 2014, 11am – 8pm
- 22nd May 2014, 6.30pm – 8pm: Business View (By Invitation Only)
- 23rd May 2014, 6pm – 8pm: Friends and Family View (By Invitation Only)

Glasgow School of Art Degree Show 2014 Dates
GSA Fire Update: My thoughts are with the students and staff of Glasgow School of Art and what they must be going through after recent events. Thanks to the magnificent work of the West Coast Fire Service not only is much of the building still intact the degree show is still going ahead at the dates below as planned!
